阴离子型表面活性剂Krafft温度的可逆调控

【摘要】 Krafft温度(KT)又称胶束融化温度[1],离子型表面活性剂想要在水中达到最大效用,如降低表面张力至最低、形成胶束、达到最大增溶作用等,温度就需要达到KT。而直链烷基磺酸钠作为一种耐酸碱性好、表/界面性质好的表面活性剂,却因为其KT过高,导致使用受限。改变表面活性剂的分子结构、使用不同类型的表面活性剂复配以及改变表面活性剂的反离子都可以有效的改变离子型表面活性剂的KT[2-3]。但是,采用一种可逆的方式调控KT还是比较困难的。叔胺作为一种小分子,已经被证明具有很好的酸碱开关性[4]。可以通过控制叔胺的开与关,来调节阴离子表面活性的KT。本文充分利用叔胺基团可以在酸碱的交替作用下可逆的质子化与去质子化的特点,通过加入酸和碱的方式,来可逆的调控烷基磺酸钠的KT。结果表明:加入酸之后,叔胺基团被质子化,AS的KT降低,然后加入碱,叔胺基团去质子化,AS的KT升高。交替的加入酸和碱的结果表明,该酸碱调控AS具有较好的可逆循环调控。

【Abstract】 Krafft temperature(KT) is also known as micellar melting temperature [1]. If ionic surfactants want to achieve the maximum effect in water, for example, reducing the surface tension to the minimum, forming micellar, and achieving the maximum solubilization, the temperature need to reach KT. However, sodium alkyl sulfonate, as a kind of surfactant with good acid-base responsive and good surface/interface properties is restricted due to its high KT and limited it to use. Changing the molecular structure of the surfactant, using different types of surfactant compounding and changing the anti-ion of the surfactant can effectively change the KT of the anionic surfactant. [2-3] However, it is difficult to control KT in a reversible way. As a small molecule, tertiary amine has been proved to have good acid-base switches. [4] The KT of anionic surfactant can be regulated by controlling the opening and closing of tertiary amines. This paper makes full use of the characteristics of reversible protonation and deprotonation of tertiary amine groups under the alternating add acid and base, and reversibly tuning the KT of sodium alkyl sulfonate by add acid and base. The results showed that after adding acid, the tertiary amine group was protonated, and the KT of AS decreased, and then the base was adding the tertiary amine group was deprotonated, and the KT of AS increased. The results of alternating add acid and base showed that this acid/base had good reversible cycle regulation on AS.
