银纳米簇的胶体自组装及其作为发光探针的应用

【摘要】 具有精确原子结构的金属纳米簇(铜,银,金簇)是由金属核和配体壳构成的尺寸小于2nm的团簇[1]。金属纳米团簇在诸多领域有着优异的性质,如传感器,生命科学和催化领域[2]。尤其是金属簇的发光性质吸引了广大研究人员的兴趣,而如何提高其在溶液中的发光性能成为人们的研究热点[3]。我们利用疏水阳离子1-十六烷基-3-甲基咪唑离子(C16mim+)对亲水的Ag6-NCs进行修饰,得到了Ag6@C16mim-NCs。Ag6@C16mim-NCs具有热致液晶和热致荧光变色性质且表现出良好的两亲性,可以自组装成有序的纳米材料。其在水/二甲基亚砜(DMSO)二元溶剂混合物中聚集形成纳米片和纳米棒状结构[4]。与此同时,由于聚集过程中限制了配体分子内振动,Ag6@C16mim-NCs表现出聚集诱导发光(AIE)性质。发光聚集体可选择性地检测精氨酸,检测限为28μm。本研究在超分子自组装领域中引入了一种新型的金属纳米簇基的两亲性分子,在光学材料应用领域具有潜在价值。
【Abstract】 Metal nanoclusters (NCs,including copper,silver and gold NCs) with atomic precision are small particles composed of a metal core and a ligand shell with a total size of less than 2 nm.[1]The metal NCs show excellent properties in several fields,such as sensors,biological sciences,and catalysis.[2]In particular,the photoluminescent nature of metal NCs attracts significant attention from research workers.Therefore,to improve the metal NCs’fluorescence properties in solution state,studies about regulation of the luminescence properties of metal NCs have emerged recently.[3]Herein,hydrophobic cation 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium (C16mim+) was chosen to modify hydrophilic(NH4)6[Ag6(mna)6](Ag6-NCs,H2mna=2-mercaptonicotinic acid) and Ag6@C16mim-NCs were obtained.Ag6@C16mim-NCs displayed thermotropic liquid crystal and thermofluorescent properties.Moreover,the Ag6@C16mim-NCs exhibits benign amphiphilicity,and it can self-assemble into ordered nano-sheets and nanorods through aggregation in water/dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) binary solvent mixtures,whereas single Ag6-NCs do not.Meanwhile,the Ag6@C16mim-NCs also displays aggregation-induced emission properties owing to the restriction of intramolecular vibrations of the capping ligands.Furthermore,the luminescent aggregates could detect arginine selectively with the detection limit at 28μm.This study introduces a new kind of metal-NC-based amphiphilic molecule in a supramolecular self-assembly field,and they have potential to be used as optical materials in applied research.
