电流变液微阀门加工公差带选择与盲文凸点显示关系

【摘要】 采用电流变液微阀门控制盲文凸点显示矩阵具有低成本、能耗少,易于控制等优势。每个盲文凸点都需要独立控制的应用需求,决定了电流变液微阀门需要采用并联结构,因此,并联阀门性能一致性成为盲文凸点能否正确显示的重要因素;就电流变液微阀门的结构而言,这种性能一致性取决于阀门加工的公差带选择。不同的公差带对应着不同的阀门阻力和流量,阀门间的流量差异过大会导致盲文凸点的误显示。本文系统分析了阀门结构参数波动对阀门阻力和流量影响规律,给出了电流变液微阀门加工公差带选择依据;并通过注塑加工方式制作了并联式电流变液阀门,使得盲文凸点显示满足使用需求。

【Abstract】 Exploring ER micro valves to manipulate Braille dots matrix has merits of low cost, low power consumptions and being apt to be controlled. The application demand that each Braille dot needs to be manipulated independently makes the ER micro valves serve as parallel ducts. Then, the consistency of their operational performance becomes the vital factor on whether a Braille dot displays correctly or not.As far as the structure of an ER micro valve was concerned, this consistency of operational performance is decided by the selections on machining tolerances of their geometry dimensions. Different tolerances bring the differences on the pressure drops and flow of parallel ducts, and a big difference in amounts of flow among parallel ducts will lead to mis-displaying of braille dots. Geometry dimensions tolerances and their effects on the pressure drops and flows of ER micro valves were systematically analyzed in this paper. The criteria on choosing tolerances of parallel ducts was also given for the purpose of machining. ER valves with parallel ducts for Braille dots matrix display were made by injection molding, the rising heights of Braille dots meet the demands of showing braille in a full page.
