气体信号分子光控释放剂研究

【摘要】 气体信号分子,如一氧化氮(NO)、一氧化碳(CO)等,具备独特的生物学效应,在多种生理、病理事件中起着关键性调节作用。实现气体信号分子生物体内有效、安全的输送越来越受到研究者关注。利用光控时空可控的特点,我们构建了NO、CO光控释放剂,以实现生物体内气体信号分子时空可控释放。基于光控释放剂优异的荧光成像能力,可用直接可视化的方式对释放过程进行高时空分辨的动态追踪。利用释放剂优异的可控性能,证明了NO及CO的血管舒张效应。研究结果为深入理解气体信号分子生物学功能提供了有效信息,并为研究气体信号分子在其它生理、病理过程中的生物效益提供了按需释放的光控释放剂。
【Abstract】 Gasotransmitters, such as, nitric oxide(NO), carbon monoxide(CO), and so on, play a critical role in various physiological and pathological events because of their unique biological effect. The effective and safe delivery of gasotransmitters in biological system has attracted increasing attention. As such, utilizing precise spatiotemporal controllable capacity of photo-control, we have constructed NO and CO photoreleasers to realize spatiotemporal controlled releasing of gasotransmitters. In view of excellent imaging capacity, the releasing process of these photoreleasers can be traced with high spatiotemporal resolution in a direct visualization manner. Capitalizing on outstanding controllable features of releasers, the vasodilatation effect of NO and CO was testified. The results provide effective information for deeply understanding the biological function of gasotransmitters and present novel photo-controlled releasers that can release gasotransmitters as needed to study the biological benefits of gasotransmitters in other physiological and pathological processes.
