空气介质微带线馈电的表面波端射天线

【摘要】 本文提出了一种空气介质微带线馈电的表面波端射天线。天线由一个空气介质微带线和一个矩形介质块组成。矩形介质块与下方的空气介质构成辐射性能较为稳定的半模介质波导,作为天线的辐射结构。通过空气介质微带线馈电,天线的辐射口面可以设计得比较长,同时天线的辐射口面具有比较均匀的能量分布和合适的相位常数。因此,天线具有增益高、增益带宽宽和方向图稳定的优点。在5.76倍波长的口面长度的条件下,天线实现了13.3 dBi的测试增益和37.8%的-3 dB增益带宽。
【Abstract】 A microstrip-fed surface wave endfire antenna is proposed in this paper:The antenna consists of an air-substrate microstrip line and a dielectric cuboid.The dielectric cuboid and the air substrate form a half-mode dielectric waveguide with a stable radiating character.The half-mode dielectric waveguide is the radiating structure of the antenna.Fed by microstrip line,the radiating aperture of the antenna could be designed with a long structure,meanwhile,the energy magnitude distribution on the radiating aperture is uniform and the phase constant of the radiating wave is moderate.Thus,the antenna obtains the advantages of high gain,wide gain bandwidth,and stable endfire radiation pattern.With a radiating aperture length of 5.76 wavelength,the antenna achieves a measured endfire gain of 13.3 dB and-3 dB gain bandwidth of 37.8%.
