用于氢原子钟的钛基吸气剂技术研究

【摘要】 氢原子钟需要长期在比较大的氢气流量下工作,而传统的溅射离子泵在长期大流量气体工作状态下,会出现阴极板变形,被击穿,打火等现象,影响整钟指标。吸气剂具有吸气容量大,吸气速度快,不需要在外加电场和磁场条件下工作,长期工作状态稳定的性能特点,非常适合应用于氢原子钟。吸气剂是通过洁净的金属表面进行吸气的,吸气剂的比表面积越大,则吸气速率越大,目前国内的吸气剂产品为了获得更大的比表面积,大部分采用粉末型吸气材料,通过烧结,压制等工艺成型,而这种粉末材料制备而成的吸气剂并不适合用于氢原子钟,因为这种吸气剂在长期使用过程中会掉下细小的粉末,这些细小的粉末一旦进入氢原子频标束光学系统则会导致整钟故障。本文介绍一种由丝状钛基吸气材料制备而成的吸气剂,钛丝具有较大的尺寸,能够有效杜绝传统吸气剂掉粉问题。为了考察这种新型丝状吸气剂的吸气性能,本文选取了国内一种粉末型Ti-Mo吸气剂产品进行对比,观察了两种吸气剂的表面形貌,采用恒压法对两种吸气剂的吸气容量和吸气速率进行测试,结果表明,两种吸气剂都具有良好的吸气性能,可见丝状吸气剂在具有优秀的吸气性能的同时,保留了大尺寸颗粒的优点,适合于严禁掉粉末的工作场所。
【Abstract】 The hydrogen Maser needs to work under high hydrogen flux.These hydrogen is traditionally absorbed by iron pump.After absorbing excess hydrogen,the cathode board of the iron pump may be distorted,or be breakdown,which will influence the hydrogen Maser.However,getter material possesses high absorbing capacity,fast absorbing speed,simple working conditions with no electric field and magnetic field,stable working properties in long term,which suits for the hydrogen Maser.The getter absorbs hydrogen by clean metal surface.The bigger the specific surface area is,the faster the absorbing rate is.In order to get big specific surface area,most of the getter products are made of metal powder.But this kind of getter is not fit for hydrogen Maser.Because after long term working under hydrogen flux,the getter will drop tiny powers,which are not easy to be restricted.Once the tiny metal power enter the hydrogen Maser system,the Maser will be breakdown.This paper introduces a new kind of getter,which is made up of pieces of Ti-based material.The pieces have big size and are easy to be restricted,which settle the powder dropping problem.In order to check-up the absorbing ability of this new getter,a kind of Ti-Mo powder getter product is chosen to be compared with.The surface shapes of the two getters are observed under microscope.The absorbing capacity and absorbing speed of the two getters are tested with constant pressure testing method.The result shows that the two getters both have good properties.The new getter possesses good absorbing ability,and keeps the big size state,which is fit for the working condition that prohibit metal powders.
