四象限电磁特性可调控超材料单元

【摘要】 本文基于经典的电磁理论及可重构技术,提出了一种四象限电磁特性可调超材料单元。该超材料单元由分别位于介质基板上方的电耦合器结构以及下方的单开口谐振环组成。通过在其上加载PIN管可以分别调节两个回路的谐振频率,实现对该单元的介电常数以及磁导率大小的控制。通过理论分析以及仿真验证和参数提取,结果表明该超材料单元带宽为500MHz。通过合理选择PIN管不同的状态可以对外表现出四种不同的特性,扩大了超材料的应用范围。
【Abstract】 Based on the classical electromagnetic theory and reconfigurable technology,a four-quadrant metamaterial with adjustable electromagnetic characteristics is proposed.The metamaterial unit consists of an electrocoupler structure located above the dielectric substrate and a single open resonant ring below.By loading PIN on it,the resonant frequency of the two loops can be adjusted respectively.The cell of permittivity and permeability are controlled.Through theoretical analysis,simulation and parameter extraction,the results show that the bandwidth of the metamaterial unit is 500 MHz.By reasonably selecting different states of PIN,four different characteristics can be displayed,which expands the application range of metamaterials.
