基于罗德曼透镜的多波束天线设计

【摘要】 多波束天线包含三部分:辐射单元、移相器和波束成型网络(馈电网络)。罗德曼透镜是一种典型的波束成型网络,具有波束方向不随频率变化以及带宽很宽的优点,经常用于实现大角度扫描。本文设计的多波束天线由一个罗德曼透镜和一个8元微带贴片直线阵组成。设计的罗德曼透镜有7个输入端口,能够实现72°(-36°,36°)的角度扫描;8个虚端口用来减少由能量反射引起的性能恶化;8个输出端口与直线阵列相接,仿真结果发现7个波束在工作频率3 GHz时最大增益为13.16 dB到14.94 dB。
【Abstract】 A multi-beam antenna consists of three parts:a radiating element,a phase shifter,and a beamforming network(feed network).The Rodman lens is a typical beamforming network with the advantage that the beam direction does not change with frequency and the bandwidth is wide.It is often used for large angle scanning.The multi-beam antenna designed in this paper consists of a Rodman lens and an 8-element microstrip patch linear array.The designed Rodman lens has 7 input ports for angular scanning of 72°(-36°,36°) and 8 virtual ports are used to reduce performance degradation caused by energy reflection and 8 output ports are connected to the linear array.The simulated beam patterns show that the seven beam gains are distributed from 13.16 dB to 14.94 dB under operating of 3 GHz.
