一种覆盖LTE-42/43/46频段的16端口MIMO天线阵列

【摘要】 本文提出了一种新颖的适用于移动终端的双频段5GMIMO手机天线,该天线可以覆盖LTE42/43和LTE46多个频段,具有16个天线单元。该天线阵列单元对称地位于基片的侧框上,有效减小了16端口天线阵列的间隙面积。天线阵列由8个均匀天线对组成,每个天线对包括两个耦合天线和两个独立馈电带。通过耦合部分尺寸的不同,实现双频段,其中8个天线单元用于LTE 42/43,另外8个天线单元用于LTE46。该结构仅占用极小的天线尺寸,各性能均满足5G手机天线的基本需求。计算了多天线的回波损耗和包络相关系数,在不同的使用状态下,智能手机具有良好的辐射和MIMO性能。

【Abstract】 A multi-band 16-anterma array designed for future 5 G sub-6-GHz spectrum(LTE bands 42/43 and LTE band 46)for MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) applications in mobile handsets is presented.In order to reduce clearance area of16 ports antenna array,the proposed antenna array elements are symmetrically located on the side frames of substrate.The proposed antenna array is composed of 8 uniform antenna pairs,and each antenna pair includes two coupling antenna and two independently feeding strips.By coupling the different sizes of some parts,dual-band is realized,in which 8 antenna units are used for LTE 42/43,and the other 8 antenna units are used for LTE 46.Although the structure only occupies a very small antenna size,each performance meet the basic requirements of 5 G mobile phone antenna.The MIMO performances such as envelope correlation coefficient,mean efective gain,multiplexing efficiency and channel capacity are also calculated.The experimental results show good radiation and MIMO performances when smartphone is in various states of use.
