用于大气甲烷探测的1645 nm单频纳秒脉冲光源技术研究

【摘要】 星载1645 nm波段积分路径差分吸收(IPDA)激光雷达可以对全球大气甲烷(CH4)浓度分布进行有效测量,单频纳秒脉冲光参量振荡器(OPO)是实现该波段激光雷达发射源的重要技术手段。本文介绍了基于KTiOAsO4晶体(KTA)的1645 nm单频纳秒脉冲OPO输出特性。该OPO以自行研制的1064 nm单频脉冲激光器作为泵浦,通过种子注入技术来实现单纵模运转。当泵浦单脉冲能量为11m J、重复频率为50Hz时,种子注入OPO输出能量达到1.8m J。该OPO输出脉冲中心频率抖动的均方根值(RMS)为9.8 MHz,平均线宽48 MHz,能够满足CH4激光雷达对光源频域特性的要求。
【Abstract】 Space-borne integrated path differential absorption(IPDA) lidar at 1645 nm wavelength is an effective tool for global observation of methane(CH4).Single-frequency nanosecond optical parametric oscillator(OPO) is an important technique to realize the laser source of IPDA lidar at this wavelength.Asingle-frequency nanosecond OPO with potassium titanyl arsenate(KTA) cut for wavelengths around 1645 nm is built for this application.The OPO is pumped by a self-developed single-frequency pulsed laser at 1064 nm at 50 Hz repetition rate and frequency-stabilized by injection seeding to insure single-mode operation.The energy of the laser pulse from the OPO is 1.8 m J when the pump energy is 11 m J.The frequency fluctuation of the OPO is 10 MHz(root-mean-square,RMS) and the average lindwidth is 48 MHz,which fulfill the requirements of CH4 IPDA lidar.
