基于ZYNQ的紧凑型千兆以太网接口读出模块的研制

【摘要】 Xilinx ZYNQ SoC (System On Chip)融合了现场可编程阵列(Field-Programmable Gate Array, FPGA)和高性能双核ARM Cortex-A9处理器,目前已广泛的应用于通讯、嵌入式系统和核电子学领域。我们在2014年研制了基于ZYNQ XC7Z010的单芯片读出模块,而最新研制了基于ZYNQ XC7Z010单芯片的紧凑型读出模块,在尺寸上更具有优势,大小由原来的56mm×42mm缩减为35mm× 35mm,更适合于小型化、一体化、便携式数据采集系统。本文阐述了基于ZYNQ XC7Z010单芯片的紧凑型读出模块的研制细节,包括整个系统架构和传统架构对比,新架构的硬件设计细节和难点以及性能。另外,还包括DDR3 SDRAM布线的关键问题的解决,千兆以太网接口以及嵌入式Linux的移植等。该模块未来将应用于一体化光电倍增管(PMT)等读出系统中。

【Abstract】 Xilinx ZYNQ SoC integrates the FPGA and the high performance dual core ARM A9 processor, which has been widely used in the field of communication, embedded system and nuclear electronics. We developed the ZYNQBee readout module on 2014, which was based on XC7Z010, and now the more compact ZYNQBee module based on XC7Z010 has been developed. From the original size 56 mm×42 mm to the 35 mm×35 mm, the new compact ZYNQBee has more advantages for miniaturized, suitable for integrated and portable data acquisition system. This paper will illustrate the details of Mini ZYNQBee’s hardware design, including the comparison with the traditional architecture and the improvement from original one to the new ZYNQBee. Critical design of DDR3 SDRAM layout, Giga Bits Ethernet interface and the Embedded Linux will also be discussed. In the future, the new compact ZYNQBee will be deployed in the integrated PMT readout system etc.
