海啸波在南海北部大陆架上的波形演化

【摘要】 海啸长波在平坦大陆架上传播会演化出短周期的波状涌潮。文章立足南海马尼拉俯冲带潜在的特大地震海啸,研究海啸波在南海北部平坦大陆架上的演化波形。使用Boussinesq模型,数值模拟海啸波从马尼拉俯冲带传播到台湾、广东、海南和海防沿岸。在球面坐标系统中,逐层加密网格,得到强度收敛的波状涌潮,收敛网格大小为15m。对从上述地方200m等深线以内区域选取若干区域,计算结果显示广东汕尾到广东湛江一线海域100m和50m等深线水域有波状涌潮出现,越南海防外海也有波状涌潮出现。波状涌潮的周期约30s、波长约1000m。对比出现波状涌潮和没有出现波状涌潮区域的入射波,总结了行程波状涌潮的入射波特征。

【Abstract】 Long tsunami wave may evolve into short period undular bores while propagating over the flat continental shelves.By assuming a giant tsunamigenic earthquake in the Manila Trench,evolution of tsunami waves over the northern South China Sea is studied numerically in this paper,and the key sea regions include southwest Taiwan,Guangdong,Hainan and HaiPhong.In the spherical coordinate,by adopting the Boussinesq numerical model and nested grid algorithm,undular bores are studied and the converged grid size is about 15 m.Further study on the aforementioned sea area(sea water depth is shallower than 200 m) shows that,undular bores are developed along the coastal areas from Shanwei to Zhanjiang,as well as the sea area of HaiPhong,Vietnam.The period is about 30 s and wave length is about 1000 m.The characters of incident wave are studied by comparing the incident waves whether undular bores are evolved or not.
