三维位置灵敏像素CdZnTe成像探测器模拟研究

【摘要】 碲锌镉(CdZnTe)半导体材料具有探测效率高、能量分辨率好且能在室温下工作等一系列优点。通过光刻制备了10mm×10mm×10mm的8×8CdZnTe像素探测器。像素的尺寸为0.5mm×0.5mm,像素间距为0.1mm。通过Maxwell、Simulink等软件对探测器权重势场分布,阴、阳极电荷收集及信号滤波放大进行了仿真模拟。通过实验和仿真的对比,初步研究了600微米像素探测器的伽玛射线作用深度(DOI)。该三维位置灵敏像素碲锌镉探测器将在医学成像、辐射监测等领域获得应用。

【Abstract】 Cadmium Zinc Telluride(CdZnTe) semiconductor detector shows many advantages, such as high detection efficiency, high energy resolution, and operation in room temperature. In this paper, pixelated CdZnTe detectors were fabricated by photolithography method at substrates of 10 mm×10 mm×10 mm.The anode was made up of 8×8 pixels, which is 0.5 mm with 0.1 mm gaps. The cathode was coplanar Au film. We used Maxwell and Simulink software to simulate weighting potential, charge collection, and signal processing. We studied the DOI effect of the 600 um pixelated detector preliminary by comparing the performance of the experiment to the stimulation results. These three-dimensional position-sensitive pixilated CdZnTe detectors would be used in applications of medical imaging and radiation monitoring.
