【摘要】 基于微结构气体探测器的TPC径迹室是目前研究的热点之一。本文基于国产厚GEM探测器设计并制作了用于低能电子径迹"无损"测量的TPC探测器,将实现对0.1MeV到50MeV的准单电子束进行在线径迹测量。探测器本征空间分辨预期达到100um。利用国内自研的ASIC多路电子学,通过径迹"采样"读出设计,可实现以512路电子学进行50*50*75mm^3空间内三维径迹的精确重建。基于Garfield和Geant4对气压影响、漂移速度等进行了模拟分析。利用放射源以及实验束流等进行测试,验证了此TPC探测器的设计和初步性能。初步测试结果表明,双层厚GEM增益可达到1.0×10^4以上,在119V/cm的漂移场强下,漂移速度为3.019cm/us@Ar+IsoB=97:3,对时间测量相对有利。

【Abstract】 A novel THGEM-based TPC prototype was developed to realize nondestructive tracking of low energy pulsed electron beam online in vacuum. The THGEM adopted is homemade with Kapton substrate and good performance.The TPC detector will cover electron energy range from 0.1 MeV to 50 MeV and reach 100 umposition resolution in three dimensions.The readout pads were designed as track "sampling" and combined with the 511-channel electronics, which was developed based on homemade ASIC chips. ByGarfield++ and Geant4 software, the drift velocity and the influence of gas pressure were simulated. Both the THGEM films and TPC detector were tested by using the radioactive source and test beam to verify their performance. The test results show that the TPC detector works well, the homemade THGEM can reach 1.0*10^4 gas gain, and the drift velocity is about 3.175 cm/us @119 V/cm in Ar+IsoB=97:3 gas mixture.
