HIRFL CSR外靶实验T0探测器前端电子学模块测试

【摘要】 针对兰州重离子加速器(Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou, HIRFL)冷却储存环(Cooling Storage Ring, CSR)外靶实验中时间起点(T0)探测器的读出需求,进行了内层和外层MRPC探测器的前端电子学(FEE)模块的设计与测试。目前已经在实验条件下完成了内层和外层FEE各一个模块,共计40个通道的电子学测试。测试结果表明,这两种FEE模块均工作正常,且时间精度均好于20ps,同时整个读出电子学模块的时间精度好于30 ps,满足应用需求。
【Abstract】 The front end electronics(FEE) modules are designed for the T0 detector in the External Target Experiment in CSR(Cooling Storage Ring) of HIRFL(Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou). Two different FEE modules were designed for the internal and external MRPC of the T0 detector, respectively. A series of tests were conducted in the laboratory, including one internal and one external FEE module, including a total of 40 channels. Test results indicate that the two kinds of FEE modules function well; the time precision of the FEE modules is better than 20 ps, and the overall system time resolution is better than 30 ps, which satisfies the application requirement.
