双连续凝胶材料的制备与应用

【摘要】 双连续结构材料具有两相独立传质且充分接触的特点,在太阳能电池,充电电池,组织工程,分离膜以及催化等领域有广泛的应用。双连续凝胶(bijels)是通过胶体在两相流体界面自组装,形成的一种具双相连续结构的凝胶材料。[1]这种新型软物质是制备双连续结构材料的理想模版。[2]但是双连续凝胶的制备工艺极为苛刻,一直阻碍它的进一步应用。[3]本报告将主要阐述双连续凝胶材料的主要研究进展及其应用,并报道一种新的双连续凝胶的制备方法。该方法过程简易,为打破双连续凝胶制备的瓶颈提供了新的思路。

【Abstract】 Bi-continuous materials are featured to have two independent channels for mass transfer,thus show potential applications in solar cells,recharged batteries,tissue engineering,separation membranes,catalysis etc.Bi-continuous interfacially jammed emulsion gels,called bijels for short,are considered as a new class of soft materials with two inter-penetrating continuous fluid domains sharing an interface jammed with colloidal particles.[1] This novel soft matter is an ideal template for making bicontinuous materials.[2] However,the fabrication of bijels demands significant care since the reproducibility is affected with minor changes to the process.This talk will present the recent advance on the fabrication and applications of bijels,and report a simple method for realizing bijels based on our most recent work.This facile method provides a new strategy to tackle the challenges for fabricating bijels.
