基于IEEE 802.15.7的可见光通信平台设计与实现

【摘要】 目前国内外对可见光通信(VLC)的研究均处在起步与探索的阶段,IEEE 802.15.7提出了对可见光通信标准化的规范和要求,迫切需要基于该标准的低成本、高可靠性的研究性基础平台。本文结合软件定义无线电(SDR)的优势,使用低成本商用发光二极管(LED)和通用软件无线电外设(USRP)设计和实现了基于IEEE 802.15.7的可见光通信平台。该平台能够作为原型系统样机,验证IEEE 802.15.7的可行性,反映出可见光通信的基本特性和功能,同时具有灵活化、模块化的特点,便于平台进一步的升级和功能的增加,为今后可见光通信的研究铺平了道路,还能够通过文件传输、视频实时传输和调光控制等可视化的功能演示将可见光的通信过程展示出来,方便了对可见光通信技术的深入理解。

【Abstract】 At present, researches on visible light communication(VLC) at home and abroad are in the initial stage of exploration. IEEE 802.15.7 proposes requirements for the standardization of VLC, and the low-cost and high-reliability research platforms based on this standard are needed urgently. This paper combines the advantages of software-defined radio(SDR) with a low-cost commercial light-emitting diode(LED) and universal software radio peripheral(USRP), designs and implements a VLC platform based on IEEE 802.15.7. It can be used as a system prototype, verify the feasibility of IEEE 802.15.7, reflect the basic characteristics and functions of VLC. It has the features of flexibility and modularity, can be easy to further upgrade the platform and increase functions, and it paves the way for future research of VLC. And it can demonstrate the VLC process through visual presentation such as file transfer, video real-time transmission, and dimming control, which facilitates the in-depth understanding of VLC technology.
