基于微通道板的快中子照相探测器研制进展

【摘要】 本文叙述了一套快中子照相探测器的研制进展。该探测器主要由像转换屏、微通道板像增强器和CCD相机等组成,其主要设计指标为:对14.5 MeV快中子探测效率大于0.1%,空间分辨率小于0.5 mm。利用蒙特卡洛模拟程序Geant4对像转换屏特性进行了计算,并根据模拟结果完成了成像系统的设计。利用241Amα粒子源对微通道板探测器系统进行了测试,测试结果显示微通道板探测器系统的边缘分辨率约为96.36μm。
【Abstract】 The research progress of a microchannel plate based fast neutron imaging detector is reported.The detector system is mainly consisted by an imaging conversion plate,a microchannel plate(MCP) and a CCD camera.The aim of the detector system is to get a detect efficiency better than 0.1%for 14.5 MeV fast neutron and a spatial resolution better than 0.5 mm.The design of the system has been finished and the Geant4 code has been used to optimize the design.An Am a particle source has been used to test the MCP detector system,the test results indicate that the spatial resolution of the MCP detector system is small than 96.36 um.
