复合多轴流动聚焦制备多核Janus微胶囊

【摘要】 具有不对称结构的多核Janus微胶囊以其独特性能,在光学、生物医学、传感器、药物输送和电子学等领域具有潜在的应用前景。本文提出一种简单有效的复合多轴流动聚焦技术,用于一步制备多核Janus微胶囊。改变实验参数可以控制这种Janus微胶囊的粒径大小、内部结构以及形态学特征。在Janus微胶囊的一个半球上加载磁性纳米四氧化三铁颗粒后,通过外加磁场可以控制微胶囊的移动。复合多轴流动聚焦技术提供了一个制备微胶囊的可扩展、低成本和高产量平台,在生物科学、传感技术、功能材料和药物传输等多种领域有潜在的应用。
【Abstract】 Microfabrication of complex emulsions such as Janus droplets and multicomponent emulsions have raised more and more research interests.Here,we propose a novel multi-coaxial flow focusing(MCFF) process for single-step fabrication of multi-component Janus microcapsules(MCJMs).MCJMs with different sizes and structures are obtained by controlling the process parameters quantitatively.The polymeric shell of MCJMs are solidified by UV light to form multi-component microcapsules.The proposed MCFF process provides a low cost and scalable microencapsulation platform with high throughput for various potential applications in bioscience,sensing technology,functional materials and controlled drug delivery.
