【摘要】 个体对面孔吸引力的评估一直是异性交往领域的研究热点。以往研究主要集中在对异性面孔吸引力的评估,而忽视了在情侣双方互动的亲密关系中,自我面孔吸引力评价的变化特点及规律。处于亲密关系中的双方会相互产生重大影响是亲密关系的典型特点之一,已有研究表明,亲密关系中的个体会高估恋人面孔的吸引力。本研究将进一步探究,亲密关系中的个体对自我面孔吸引力的评价机制。实验招募了"情侣"和"单身"被试各60名(男、女各半)。实验一(情侣被试)和实验二(单身被试)采用对偶比较法,要求被试判断屏幕上成对出现的两张面孔中,哪张更具有吸引力。实验之后被试还需对面孔进行主观评定。结果发现:单身被试和处于亲密关系中的被试对自我面孔吸引力的评价均出现了高估倾向,这种倾向在遇到极端面孔时,均出现了降低的现象;相比于单身者,处于亲密关系中的被试对自我面孔吸引力的高估程度更为显著,且存在性别差异,男性显著强于女性;处于亲密关系中的被试对恋人面孔吸引力的评价存在高估倾向,这种高估倾向甚至强于对自我面孔吸引力的高估倾向,且存在性别差异,男性显著强于女性。上述结果表明,亲密关系对自我面孔吸引力的评价有重要影响。该成果可为恋爱关系的评价与指导提供新的思路与建议。更多还原

【Abstract】 Individual’s evaluation of facial attractiveness is always a hotspot in the field of heterosexual contacts research.Previous studies mainly focused on the assessment of heterosexual facial attractiveness,but ignored the investigation of the mechanism underlying self-face attractiveness evaluation in intimate relationships.One of the typical characteristic of intimacy is having a significant impact on lovers in both sides.Previous research has showed that intimate relationship always supervene the "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" phenomenon,which refers to a tendency of overrate lover’s facial attractiveness.This research will further explore the influence of romantic relationships on self-face attractiveness evaluation.Thirty pairs of lovers and sixty singles(30 males and 30 females) participated the experiment.The Method of paired comparison was used in both the Experiment 1( "lovers" subjects) and the Experiment 2( "single" subjects).Participants were asked to choose the more attractive face in each trail and were going to rate the attractiveness of faces from l( "very unattractive") to 7( "very attractive").Results showed that both singles and lovers exhibited positive bias to evaluate selfface attractiveness,but this bias could not exceed the exaggerative attractiveness face;compared to singles,lovers showed a stronger positive bias to self-face attractiveness rating,and this bias was stronger in males than in females;compared to self-face attractiveness rating,lovers showed a stronger positive bias to romantic partner’s facial attractiveness rating,and this bias was stronger in males than in females.The findings indicate that intimacy has a significant influence on the self-face attractiveness evaluation,which can provide new orientations for the research of intimate relationships.更多还原
