【摘要】 已有研究表明当个体遭遇社会排斥时,其社会交往意愿会显著提高,而感知到与他人的社会连接感能够调节二者之间的关系。同时,网络社交媒体能够使人感知到社会连接感。新近的国外研究据此验证了网络社交媒体图标的呈现能够调节社会排斥与社会交往意愿之间的关系。本研究关注在中国文化背景下网络社交媒体是否存在相同的作用。实验为2×2组间设计,社会排斥的操作采用经典的网络掷球范式,社交媒体图标呈现的操纵则是通过将微信图标呈现作为实验组,爱奇艺图标呈现作为控制组。最后测量因变量社会交往意愿。结果表明,控制条件下,被社会排斥的被试比被社会接纳的被试表现出更强烈的社会交往意愿。而呈现微信图标时,被社会排斥的被试和被社会接纳的被试表现出的社会交往意愿并无显著差异。对结果的进一步探索分析表明微信关系使用的程度可调节图标呈现的作用,相对于微信的关系使用程度低的被试而言,微信的关系使用程度高的被试在受到社会排斥后表达出更低的社会交往意愿。研究证实了中国文化背景下网络社交媒体的图标呈现对社会排斥与个体的交往意愿之间关系的调节作用,有助于进一步认识网络社交媒体的使用为广大使用者带来的积极作用,如满足个体的归属需要和提高身心健康水平等。更多还原

【Abstract】 Previous studies demonstrated that excluded individuals became more interested in social contact. While the relationship can be moderated by thinking of social connectedness. Recent foreign study illustrated Facebook can be a source of social connectedness which can moderate the relationship between social exclusion and individuals’ interest in social contact. This article is concerned with the role of social media in the context of Chinese culture. Between group design was applied in this study. The cyberball was applied in this experiment, participants were randomly assigned to the exclusion condition or the inclusion condition.Afterwards, a WeChat icon or an iQIYI icon(a control icon) was presented on the margin of a computer screen during a filler task. The results showed that in the control condition, excluded participants will show greater interest in social contact.This effect will disappear after the subtle presentation of WeChat icon. And the effect of icon presentation can be moderated by relational WeChat use,participants who report higher relational WeChat use(vs. lower) will express much lower interest in social contact.This research provided the empirical evidence for the role of social mediain exempting people from trying compensation behavior after being excluded.
