蠕虫状孔道碳材料担载铂钌催化剂的制备及甲醇电氧化性能研究

【摘要】 以不同孔径的蠕虫状孔道碳材料为载体采用脉冲微波助多元醇还原技术制备了PtRu催化剂。研究发现:(1)采用相同形貌但孔径不同的碳载体制备的催化剂PtRu颗粒基本相同;(2)载体孔径大小对PtRu催化活性有着决定性影响。当碳载体孔直径大于Pt颗粒直径2倍时,催化剂电催化甲醇氧化的性能显著提高,性能略高于商品化XC-72R活性碳负载的PtRu催化剂;当碳载体孔直径小于Pt粒径2倍时,由于孔内金属颗粒无法利用,Pt的电化学面积和利用率明显降低,催化剂电催化活性随之降低。
【Abstract】 PtRu nanoparticles supported on wormholelike mesoporous carbons(WMCs) with three different pore diameters have been successfully synthesized by adopting a modified pulse microwave-assisted polyol method. It has been found that the pore diameter of WMCs plays decisive role in the electrochemical activity of PtRu towards alcohol electrooxidation reaction. PtRu/WMC with Dpore>2Dpt exhibits the biggest electrochemical surface area(ESA) and the highest activity towards methanol electrooxidation. This could benefit from more accessibility of PtRu nanoparticles when Dp is more than twice Dpt for the easier mass transfer of reactants and electrolyte.
