探索具有超低热导率的高温陶瓷材料

【摘要】 Searching novel ceramic with extremely low thermal conductivity is one of the great challenges for advanced thermal protection component.However,the task is very difficult to be realized because there are intractable choices among countless possible ceramic candidates,and there is still absence of rigorous theoretical method for predicting thermal conductivity at high temperatures.The present work shows that searching high-temperature ceramic with extremely low thermal conductivity can be guided by a genome approach based on theoretical prediction of minimum lattice thermal conductivity at high temperature.Based on the theoretical calculations,we predicted some new candidates with low thermal conductivity in ternary Y-Al-O aluminates,Y/Lu-Si-O silicates,quaternary Y/Lu-Si-O-N oxynitrides.The theoretical predictions are validated by experimental measurements of thermal conductivity after breakthroughs in processing dense and bulk specimens of these novel ceramics.
