圆环阵超指向性方法仿真研究
Simulation study of a superdirective method for circular sensor arrays

【摘要】 在空间均匀噪声场中,圆环阵的噪声互谱矩阵是循环矩阵,利用这一特性,可将最优波束、最大指向性因子和总误差敏感度函数分别表示为有限阶特征波束及其指向性因子和误差敏感度函数之和,并发现特征波束的指向性因子随阶数升高而变大,同时稳健性却随之降低,因此可通过降秩处理技术获得稳健的超指向性结果。本文首先仿真得到空间均匀噪声场中圆环阵接收到的信号和噪声数据,然后利用上述超指向性方法处理仿真数据,验证该方法的相关特性,为其进一步应用奠定基础。
【Abstract】 The optimal beampattern, the maximum directivity factor, and the total sensitivity function of circular sensor arrays can be expressed as the sum of finite eigen-beams, sum of their directivity factors, and sum of their sensitivity functions, respectively, using the properties of circulant spectral matrix in the isotropic noise field. The higher the order of the eigen-beam, the larger is its directivity factor, but the worse is its sensitivity function. Thus, a reduced-order technique can be used to achieve robust superdirective results. This paper is focused on demonstrating the good performance of this superdirective method in simulations. Specifically, the signals and noise received by a circular sensor array in the isotropic noise field are first obtained, and the above-mentioned superdirective method is then applied to process the data so that the aforementioned properties of the superdirective method can be proven. This simulation study shows that the superdirective method has good potential to be applied in practice.
