BESⅢ端盖TOF触发升级设计方案
Upgrade design of End-cap TOF Trigger system

【摘要】 BESⅢ端盖飞行时间(ETOF)探测器的升级改造采用MRPC探测器。改造后的探测器由96个闪烁体改为72个MRPC,输出288路击中信号。ETOF触发子系统通过触发数据预处理板(TDPP)对击中信号进行展宽存储并通过高速光纤链路传输给端盖TOF触发逻辑板(ETOFT)。触发数据在ETOFT中进行击中数据计数和背对背信息查找,给出NETOF>=1,NETOF>=2和"背对背"的信息并送入DAQ系统和总触发。
【Abstract】 In the upgrade of BESⅢ End-cap TOF MRPC detectors are used. 288 hit signals are generated from new ETOF detector which consists of 72 MRPCs(Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chamber), instead of 96 Plastic scintillators. Hit signals are stretched and trigger data are stored by TDPP(Trigger Data Pre-Processor) and then sent to ETOFT(End-cap TOF Trigger) through high speed fiber link. Trigger data are aligned and stored in FIFO in ETOFT. Trigger logic running in the center FPGA counts hits signals and Bhabha events and send it to Global Trigger also to DAQ system.
