单分散各项异性中空微球的合成及应用

【摘要】 各向异性胶体颗粒是指粒径在纳米至微米级,形状为非球形的聚合物、无机或金属颗粒,其形貌多种多样包括雪人形、蘑菇型、碗状、哑铃型等~[1,2]。微纳米材料的性能受材料的形貌、尺寸和化学成分影响很大,相对于各项同性的球形颗粒,各向异性微粒具有较大的比表面积和对称性下降等特点。特殊的形貌结构不仅带来许多特殊的物理化学性质,还可以通过组装得到新的粒子堆积类型,改善材料的光学性质和亲疏水性能等~[3]。由于各向异性胶体颗粒的这些独特的优异性能,对其合成和应用研究已经成为材料和物理化学领域的一个研究热点。本文中,我们利用改进的分散聚合方法制备具有碗状、眼球状结构的聚苯乙烯颗粒,实验发现只有在特定的交联剂添加模式和滴加速率下碗形结构较好,在不同的交联剂加入量下,可形成眼球状的结构,然后借助模板法制备得到具有相应结构的各向异性单分散二氧化钛和二氧化硅中空微球并进行萃取分离测试,发现其同时具有液液萃取的高效性、固相萃取的易分离以及二氧化钛的高催化活性等特点,并且可以重复利用。

【Abstract】 Comparing with traditional particles, the anisotropic particles are featured with large specific surface area, low structure symmetry and so on. Their unique structures not only provide novel assembly units, but also bring many special physical and chemical properties, such as optical, hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties. In view of these advantages, the research for its synthesis and application has been a hot topic in the area of material and physical chemistry. During the studying of anisotropic particles, micro/nanometer bowl-like and eyeball-like particles have been given widely attention in recent years. Due to their large specific surface area, low structure symmetry, the bowl-like/eyeball-like particles and arrays have unique optical, magnetic properties and provide broad potential applications in nano-reactors, drug delivery, high-sensitivity sensor, data storage, assembly units, solar cell and other fields. In this paper, monodisperse anisotropic polystyrene particles with single cavity and protrusion structures were synthesized using a modified dispersion and seeded polymerization method. We found that bowl-like and eyeball-like particles could be well generated in a special cross-linker adding modes, amounts and speeds. Then monodisperse anisotropic TiO2 hollow spheres with a bowl-like morphology and SiO2 hollow spheres with eyeball-like morphology were fabricated through template method. High efficiency and easy to separate by filtration are the superiority of the microsphere extraction to traditional solid-phase extraction and liquid-liquid extraction technique. Moreover, the microspheres can be repeatedly used.
