聚焦超声螺旋扫描模式下的温度场理论研究

【摘要】 高强度聚焦超声(HIFU)作为一种新兴的非侵入式肿瘤治疗方法,在临床上取得了良好的效果。在治疗较大体积的肿瘤时,HIFU探头需要以一定的扫描模式运动,常用的运动方式有离散序列扫描和连续扫描。我们建立理论模型,选取螺旋线路径,比较了两种扫描模式下的温度场分布。理论模型中,利用KZK方程描述非线性声场,利用Pennes热传导方程描述组织中的温度变化。结果表明,离散序列扫描模式下,受相邻点热扩散的影响,峰值温度分布有明显波动;连续扫描模式下,峰值温度分布均匀,缩小内外路径间距有助于形成整体的均匀的损伤体积。

【Abstract】 High Intensity Focused Ultrasound(HIFU) is a new noninvasive method for cancer treatment that has achieved good effect clinically. When a lesion with large volume is to be targeted, the HIFU energy may be delivered through two strategies, i.e. sequential discrete mode and continuous scanning mode. Temperature distribution is numerically investigated via two energy delivering strategies with spiral scanning pathway. Simulations are presented based on the combination of KZK equation and bio-heat equation. The results show that, in the sequential discrete mode, obvious fluctuation could be observed for the peak temperature distribution, because of thermal diffusion between adjacent exposure points. In the continuous scanning mode, more uniform peak temperature distributions would be produced, and uniform lesions could form a whole by decreasing interval space between spiral pathway.
