RC-LDPC码的构造及其在水声通信中的应用

【摘要】 码率兼容低密度检验(RC-LDPC)码在提高自适应水声通信系统的频带利用率方面有重要意义。本文采用集中打孔算法构造了码率分别为1/2、4/7、2/3的RC-LDPC码;与自适应判决反馈均衡器相结合,研究了该RC-LDPC码在相干水声通信系统中的性能。仿真表明:所构造的RC-LDPC码在浅海水声信道中有优良的性能,当码率R为1/2,信噪比大于9d B时,误比特率小于10-4;与矩阵扩展法相比,集中打孔算法构造的RC-LDPC码有更好的性能,当误比特率为10-3时,性能增益约为1d B。
【Abstract】 Rate-compatible low density parity check(RC-LDPC) codes are very important for adaptive underwater acoustic communication system to improve bandwidth efficiency.This paper constructs RC-LDPC codes with different code rate of 1/2,4/7 and 2/3 respectively by using punching algorithm.The performance of the constructed RC-LDPC codes is investigated by combination with adaptive decision feedback equalizer for coherent underwater acoustic communication system.Computer simulations show that the constructed RC-LDPC codes have excellent performance over shallow water acoustic channel,with the bit error rate less than 10-4 at the code rate of 1/2,the signal to noise ratio of 9d B.The performance of the constructed RC-LDPC codes is better than that constructed by matrix expending method,with gain of about 1.0d B at the bit error rate of 10-3.
