石榴中酚类成分及其药理作用研究进展

【摘要】 随着替代医学和植物化学的发展,广泛分布与各种中药中的酚类成分受到了国内外科研工作者广泛的关注,具有代表性的石榴果实及其果汁含有独特的酚类成分,同时具有显著的保健和药用价值。近年来,随着一些新的分离和分析技术的运用,石榴中大量的鞣质、黄酮、有机酸等酚类成分被发现,同时对其治疗癌症(前列腺癌等)和慢性疾病(心脑血管疾病、糖尿病等)的机理和机制研究也取得了突破性进展,其已成为药品和功能性食品研究的热点。因此本文对最近5年有关石榴(果实、果汁)的酚类成分及其药理作用研究报道进行综述,为其进一步研究提供参考。
【Abstract】 Pomegranate(P.granatum) has gained widespread popularity as a functional food and nutraceutical source.The in vitro antioxidant activity of pomegranate has been attributed to its high polyphenolic content,specifically punicalagins,punicalins,gallagic acid,and ellagic acid.These compounds are metabolized during digestion to ellagic acid and urolithins,suggesting that the bioactive compounds that provide in vivo antioxidant activity may not be the same as those present in the whole food.Anthocyanins and the unique fatty acid profile of the seed oil may also play a role in pomegranate’s health effects.All these unique biochemical composition has recently drawn attention of many investigators to study its exceptional healing qualities in relation to a variety of chronic diseases and cancer,including cardiovascular disease,diabetes,prostate cancer,breast cancer and colon cancer.A more complete characterization of pomegranate components and their physiological fate may provide mechanistic insight into the potential health benefits observed in clinical trials.This paper reviews categorization of phenolic compounds and pharmacological activities found from P.granatum fruit since 2008,which provides a reference for further study.
