化学气相传输法合成MnIn2S4及磁学性质研究
Synthesis and Magnetic Properties of MnIn2S4 Ternary Compound Crystals by Chemical Vapor Transport

【摘要】 以气相传输(CTV)方法首次合成出具有四角锥形貌的三元立方相化合物MnIn2S4。通过XRD测试显示这种特殊形貌的MnIn2S4属于立方晶系。我们在磁场范围为0-150 KOe和在温度范围4-300 K对Mn In2S4进行了磁学测试,结果通过零场冷(ZFC)和场冷(FC)曲线确定MnIn2S4具有反铁磁特性,且转变温度高达12 K。进一步探讨了MnIn2S4的形貌与磁性状态的可能形成机制。
【Abstract】 The ternary compound Mn In2S4 with quadrangular pyramidal shape has been successfully synthesized through a chemical vapor transport(CVT) process. XRD results show that MnI n2S4 crystallize is in the cubic system. Magnetic properties of the MnI n2S4 are studied in magnetic fields of 0–150 k Oe in the temperature range 4–300 K. Low-field magnetization data show a peak at 12 K, below which strong irreversibility is observed between zero-field-cooled(ZFC) and field-cooled(FC) cycles suggesting that the observed peak corresponds to the antiferromagnetic characteristic. The probable causes and the formation mechanism of the magnetic state in the MnI n2S4 crystals are discussed.
