Ring-Opening Polymerization of rac-Lactide with Aluminum Complexes Containing Biphenyl-Bridged Salen Ligands

【摘要】 <正>PLAs are among the most important synthetic biodegradable polymers investigated for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications ranging from sutures,bone fracture fixation devices,drug controlled release carriers and tissue engineering scaffolds.~1 The chain microstructure of PLA is one of the most important factors that influence the physical,mechanical and degradation properties of the polymer.~2 Although a large variety of metal derivatives could effectively catalyze the ROP of lactides,only the aluminum-based catalysts are highly isoselective for the ROP of racLA.~3
