Investigations on the Reactions of Thioureas with Fe3（CO）12

【摘要】 <正>Recently,we have initiated the project developing synthetic methodologies of iron-sulfur cluster complexes.1-4As part of this on-going project,we report herein the syntheses and crystal structures of Fe/S cluster complexes with chelating carbenes.The reaction of ArNHC（=S）NHPh with Fe3（CO）12produces complexes（μ3-S）2Fe3（CO）7（k2N,C-ArNHCNHCPh）（1,Ar=2-C5H4N;2,Ar=2-C4H3N2）.Similarly,（2-C5H4N）NHC（=S）NH（2-CH3C6H4）offers complexμ3-S)2Fe3（CO）7(k2N,C-（2-C5H4N）NH-CNH（2-CH3C6H4）（3）.However,（2-C5H4N）NHC（=S）NH（2-CH3OC6H4）generates
