基于光整流的准单周期太赫兹源研究

【摘要】 本文对基于非线性光整流方法的准单周期宽带太赫兹源进行了研究。实验中,选择LiNbO3棱镜为光整流晶体,采用倾斜波前技术实现光整流过程中非共线相位匹配,搭建太赫兹波产生平台,实验表明,当使用中心波长为800nm、脉冲宽度为100fs、单脉冲能量为1mJ、重复频率为1KHz的泵浦激光,测得产生的准单周期太赫兹波脉冲的峰值频率为0.5THz,10%带宽为1,能量为0.5μJ,在离轴抛物面镜焦点处峰值场强达50kV/cm,激光到太赫兹波的能量转换效率达5×10-4。

【Abstract】 In this paper,the principles quasi-single-cycle broadband terahertz sources based on the nonlinear optical rectification method are presented.A LiNb03 prism is selected as an optical rectification crystal,a tilted pulse front technology is used to achieve velocity matching of optical rectification process and then a terahertz wave generation setup is built.The experimental results show that when using lOOfs,1mJ,800 nm pumped laser at 1 KHz repetition rate,quasi-single-cycle terahertz pulses with peak frequency at 0.5THz,10%bandwidth of 1THz are generated.The terahertz wave pulse energy is as high as 0.5μJ,the focused field reaches 50kV/cm by using an offaxis parabolic mirror pair and the laser to terahertz wave energy conversion efficiency is as high as 5×10-4.
