【Abstract】 Experience is an important factor re-shaping the postnatal behaviours of insects,whose deepening knowledge will be helpful for elucidation of host selection and host shift of phytophagous insects.The author reviewed the sensitive stage of experience,the retention period of acquired memory,the extraction of experience information,and the strength of experience on insect behaviours.Finally,I suggested that current experimental designs should be ecologically relevant,and discussed the studying directions in the future.更多还原
