彩色图像色彩损伤的主观评价

【摘要】 研究彩色图像色彩损伤的主观评价方法,对于评价多媒体系统性能、客观算法的效果,改进客观算法具有重大意义。本文介绍图像质量评价方法及目前国内外一些主观评价实验,在此基础上设计并实现了用于研究彩色图像中色彩损伤的主观评价辅助系统。该系统以提高主观评价实验的效率为目的,使用MFC和Open CV实现,具有友好的程序界面。该系统能够完成主观评价的各个关键环节,包括:主观评价实验安排、观看测试和结果统计与数据管理。在此系统下进行了主观评价实验,由实验数据可得出:在色调方面,人眼对于橙色和红色等色调较为敏感,且敏感程度与其和周围区域的对比程度和该色调在画面中所占面积大小有关;在饱和度方面,对色调变化较敏感的颜色对饱和度变化也较敏感,偏白的颜色对饱和度变化较不敏感;在亮度方面,对于亮度不均匀的图片,人眼对较暗区域的亮度变化较敏感。实验结果表明,该系统能够很好地应用于人眼彩色视觉敏感性的测试。

【Abstract】 The research on subjective evaluation of color distortion in images has great significance on performance evaluation of multimedia system and evaluation and improvement of objective algorithms. In this paper, we introduce the methods of image quality evaluation first, emphasizing subjective evaluation experiments home and abroad at present. Then we design and implement the subjective evaluation auxiliary system for researching color distortion in color images. The system, which is implemented with MFC and Open CV, is designed to improve efficiency of subjective evaluation experiments with a friendly interface. This system plays a vital role in every part of the subjective evaluation, including subjective evaluation experiments arranging, testing and data statistics and management. We launch the subjective evaluation experiment with the auxiliary system. Experimental data reveals that for hue, human eyes are more sensitive to orange and red, and the sensitivity has something to do with contrast of surrounding regions and proportion of the hue in the image. For saturation, similarities are found between sensitivity to changes of hue and saturation. Meanwhile human eyes are not sensitive to saturation changes in white regions. For luminance, human eyes are sensitive to luminance changes in dark regions in images with uneven intensity. The result proves that the system can be applied to experiments for testing human eyes’ color vision sensitivity effectively.
