【Abstract】 Multi-element analysis of geologic samples is a difficult task due to its complicated component and inconvenience in sample preparation.In this paper,56 elements in geologic sample powder were determined by glow discharge mass spectrometry(GD-MS).The choice of conductive host matrix and the mixing ratio were discussed.Spectral Interferences has a great influence on the accuracy of analytical results for the some elements. The relative standard bias of 51 elements is 43.4% in average,indicating the fast survey analysis of geological samples without reference standard by GD-MS is feasible.Calibrated by solo standard,The analytical results of Li, Na,Mg,Al,Cr,Fe,Co,Pb concentration calibrated by solo standard are in good agreements with their certificated values.
