智能交通系统对道路交通安全的改善作用

【摘要】 为了探索智能交通系统对道路交通安全的改善作用,寻找中国对道路交通安全改善的途径,本文以美国智能交通系统为基础,分析归纳了美国智能交通系统在改善美国道路交通安全性的作用。从交通安全角度,对智能交通系统进行了分类,并给出了每类所包含的具体技术及其安全功能。利用美国交通事故数据,分析了智能交通系统技术对交通事故的影响,发现智能交通系统技术在减少事故率、降低事故严重程度等方面有较明显的改善作用。
【Abstract】 In order to explore the improvement effects of Intelligent Transportation Systems on road traffic safety, and seek approaches of traffic safety improvement for China, the application benefits of intelligent transportation systems to road safety in United States were analyzed and concluded. From the view of traffic safety, intelligent transportation systems technologies were classified into three categories, and specific technologies and corresponding traffic safety function in each category were presented. Based traffic data of United States, the effects of intelligent transportation systems on road safety were analyzed. The analyzed results show that intelligent transportation systems technologies have positive effects on decreasing traffic accident rate and reducing severity of traffic accidents.
