【Abstract】 To prepare the functionalized Mg（OH）₂,a series of new techniques were studied.Mg（OH）₂ products with a polymorphology were obtained using inexpensive starting materials,on the basis of the precise morphology control of crystal growth.Mg（OH）₂ hexago- nal platelet and Mg（OH）₂ whisker obtained in the current work are efficiént inorganic flame retardant and smoke suppressant.The spherical Mg（OH）₂ as a good precursor of MgO,has potential appli- cations in the catalysis field.The novel strategy of morphology control of functionalized Mg（OH）₂ is proposed,which can improve the pro- duction a functionalized Mg（OH）₂ in large scale.更多还原
