【Abstract】 In this paper, based on the briefly presentment of the technical problem in Chinese stone industry,six advanced machining technologies, machining with diamond wire, deep sawing of granite and ssawing with multi-bade,grinding with diamond tools, numerical control machining and numerical control scuplpting non—transitional machining and simulating and optimizing the stone machining process are discussed.
