等离子体显示单元结构对放电特性的影响

【摘要】 采用基于PIC-MCC(Particle in Cell-Monte Carlo Collision)模型的XOOPIC软件模拟了向放电结构等离子体(ACM-PDP)放电的基本物理过程,并分析了条纹形成的基本过程。同时本文还研究了不同扫描电极宽度对主放电区域及条纹的影响,模拟结果表明主放电区域随着扫描电极宽度的增加不断扩大,条纹间距随着电极宽度的增加而减小。
【Abstract】 The micro-cell discharge and striation formation in an alternating current matrix plasma display panel (ACM PDP)were simulated on the basis of particle in cell Monte Carlo collision(PIC-MCC)model with a commercial available software package XOOPIC.The impacts of micro-cells with different structures,scan electrodes with different widths in particular,on the main-discharge region and striation configuration were theoretically studied.The simulated results show that the width of a scan electrode strongly affects the discharge characteristics of an ACM PDP.For instance,as the width of a scan electrode widens,the main discharge region continuously increases,whereas the separation between adjacent stripes narrows.
