锂离子电池正极材料LiFePO4的稳定性

【摘要】 利用红外、质谱、色谱、差热分析等研究了LiFePO4在电解液中的稳定性、LiFePO4与电解液的反应及其热稳定性。结果表明:LiFePO4是一种较理想的锂离子电池正极材料,具有很好的循环稳定性,与1 mol/L LiPF6 EC/DMC(1:1)电解液有非常好的相容性和储存性能;对充放电后的LiFePO4做差热分析表明,温度400 ℃以内LiFePO4基本没有吸热和放热过程。热稳定性优于目前广泛使用的LiCoO2和LiMn2O4等正极材料。
【Abstract】 The stabilities of olivine LiFePO4 in EC/DMC and LiPF6-based electrolyte were investigated by infrared spectrometry, MS, CS and differential scanning calorimetry. The results show the perfect stability and well cycle performance of LiFePO4 , which is said to be well storaged in EC/DMC and LiPF6-based electrolyte. The effect of cell temperature on the electrochemical reaction behavior of LiFePO4 was investigated. The thermal stability of LiFePO4 by differential scanning calorimetry was evaluated. Charged LiFePO4 in contact with an electrolyte solution exhibits no obvious endothermic or exothermic reaction below 400 ℃. This means that LiFePO4 has higher stability than such other cathode materials as LiNiO2 and LiMn2O4.
