改良黏土衬里对重金属吸附的研究

【摘要】 针对传统垃圾填埋场黏土衬里不能有效阻止重金属迁移的缺陷,本文采用在衬里中添加对重金属具有强吸附能力材料的方法去改良黏土衬里,从而弥补传统衬里的不足.通过静态平衡吸附试验观察经颗粒活性碳和酸活化膨润土改良的衬里对重金属Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附能力,同时观察pH值对吸附能力的影响.结果表明,添加两种吸附剂的黏土对Cr(Ⅵ)表现出了比较强的吸附能力,且吸附能力随着pH值的增加而减小,等温参数也随之减小.通过数值模拟的方法进一步观察改良的衬里阻隔重金属迁移的能力.数值模拟的结果表明,相对与传统的黏土衬里,改良的衬里在很大程度上延迟了重金属的迁移;在忽略pH值对吸附参数影响的条件下,数值计算结果将对污染物的迁移程度做出不合理的估计.
【Abstract】 To prevent effectively the transport of heavy metals present in landfill leachate,adding materials capable of strongly adsorbing pollutants to the conventional liner is one method that has been tried in the study. The adsorption capacity of landfill liners containing granular activated carbon(GAC),or bentonite activated by acid,for Cr(Ⅵ)was investigated by batch testing.The effect of pH on adsorption capacity was considered in the study.The results show that the Cr(Ⅵ)sorption to clay plus GAC or activated bentonite is much greater than Cr(Ⅵ)sorption to natural clay.The adsorption capacity and isotherm parameters decrease with increasing pH.The Cr(Ⅵ)transport simulations were performed to more completely evaluate how effectively these materi- als would be if incorporated into a clay liner.The results of the simulations indicate that landfill liners containing GAC,or activated bentonite,significantly retard the transport of Cr(Ⅵ)relative to a conventional clay liner. Without considering pH effect,the results of the simulations would estimate unreasonably the transport of pol- lutants.
