灰度变换在光学相关探测与识别中的应用

【摘要】 从理论上给出了实时光电混合联合变换相关器目标探测与识别的基本原理以及实验装置,分析了图像的灰度级对联合变换相关器的影响,并给出了在联合变换相关器的物面进行灰度变换的处理方法。应用此方法,可以明显地增强相关峰的亮度,成功地解决了由于模块所在的灰度级范围与目标所在背景的灰度级范围相差较大所带来的影响问题。作为实例,给出了低对比度下轿车的复杂目标探测与识别结果。

【Abstract】 The real-time hybrid photoelectric joint transform correlator (HPJTC) and its experiment setup that can detect and recognize objects are presented theoretically. The influence of gray scale to joint transform correlator is analyzed and a method of gray-scale transformation is given to process the object plane of joint transform correlator. With the method, the brightness of correlation peak is strengthened obviously and so the problem, which is the influence from the great difference of the gray scale range of the template and the background of the object, is solved successfully. As an example, the detecting and recognizing of the car in the low contrast and cluttered scenes are given.
