【摘要】 朱鹮Nipponia nippon是世界极危物种,目前对其活动性和活动区面积仍缺乏了解.我们从1999年5月开始对野生朱鹮进行无线电遥测研究,本文报道朱鹮幼鸟离巢后至迁飞前的研究结果.朱鹮幼鸟在40～45日龄时离巢,离巢后的5～10天内在巢附近的旱耕地活动,活动区面积3.096hm~2,此时幼鸟仍由亲鸟喂食.随着离巢天数的增加,朱鹮幼鸟的活动区面积增大,主要觅食地为秧田和河滩.离巢25～30日后,幼鸟在亲鸟带领下,从繁殖地向16km外的游荡区迁移.朱鹮幼鸟离巢后利用的栖息地类型分别为:旱耕地→秧田→秧田与河滩.更多还原

【Abstract】 The Crested Ibis (Nipponia nippon) is a globally threatened bird species and ranked as "Critical Endangered" in BirdLife International’s Birds toWatch 2. Since the rediscovery of the wild population in China in 1981, many studies have been conducted on the distribution, population ecology, habits, captive breeding and conservation of the Crested Ibis. However, very few work has been done to investigate the movements, home range and habitat selection. From May 1999, a radio- tracking study has been started and this paper reports the results of the young Crested Ibises after fledging.The young crested ibises leave their nests at the age of 40 - 45 days. In the beginning 5 to 10 days after fledging, the young birds feed at dry plowing lands close to the nests, the home range is 3.096ha. In this period, the young birds still need their parents’ feeding and roost near the nest trees. Later, the birds move to the rice paddies and the home range keep increased. In late June, about 25 - 30 days after fledging, the seedlings grown up and make the Crested Ibis difficult to feed in the paddies. With their parents, the young birds migrate to the wandering region where is 16km away from the breeding area. The habitat use of the young birds after fledging keeps changing gradually, the order is: dry plowing land→ rice paddy →rice paddy and river beach.更多还原
