【Abstract】 Soyhulls are a byproduct from dehullling operation in soybean crushing plants. Although high in fiber, soyhulls can be easily digested by ruminal microorganisms and provide a fairly large amount of energy for ruminant animals because of their low lignin contents. Soyhulls had an available energy value similar to that of commonly used energy ingredients in lactation diets. When soyhulls were supplemented to lactation dairy cow diets for replacing corn, wheat or wheat bran, the fat-corrected milk yield had no change, and milk fat percentages and economic outputs were usually improved.更多还原
