【Abstract】 A haemophilic bacterium was obtained from a chicken on farm in Dalian with a history of infectious coryza outbreaks. The isolate was confirmed as haemophilus paragallinarum(Hpg)by morphology, growth requirements,artificial infection in chickens and PCR. Page serotyping was conducted with simple,broth antigen as well as KSCN treated agar antigen using Page serovar A,B and C reference antisera. This testing proved the isolate belonged to Page serovar B. This is the first serovar B Hpg isolate ever reported in China.更多还原
