【Abstract】 Capacity-Constrained Firm (CCF) and bottlenecks are defined. An ongoing optimization strategy for CCF is explored thoroughly: to manage and control the system by focusing on its bottlenecks so as to constantly improve the firm’s current and future economic benefits. It is discussed in detail how to implement this strategy: identifying the bottlenecks, making better and fuller use of them, subordinating everything else to the better and fuller use, elevating the bottlenecks by improvement and/or investment, and thereby forming a favoring cycle of ongoing optimization.更多还原
