(NdxR1-x)3Fe24Cr5(R=Gd,Tb)金属间化合物的结构与磁性

【摘要】 本文对(NdxR1-x)3Fe24Cr5(R=Gd,Tb)金属间化合物的晶体结构和磁性用X射线衍射和磁测量的方法进行了研究。X射线粉末衍射表明它们均为单斜Nd3(Fe,Ti)29结构,属于A2/m空间群。两种化合物中,晶格参数a,b,c以及晶胞体积V都随Nd含量的增加而单调增加。室温易磁化方向随Nd含量的增加变为[040]方向。(NdxGd1-x)3Fe24Cr5化合物的居里温度随Nd对Gd的替代而单调减小,而 (NdxTb1-x)3Fe24Cr5化合物的居里温度在Nd含量x=0-0.4时减小,在x=0.4-0.8时增加。两种化合物中饱和磁化强度Ms均随Nd含量的增加而单调增加,并能够用磁稀释模型进行解释。
【Abstract】 The crystal structure and magnetic properties of (NdxR1-x)3Fe24Cr5 (R = Gd and Tb) compounds with x=0.0-0.8 have been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. All the samples are single phase and crystallize in the Nd3(Fe,Ti)29-type structure with space group A2lm. As the Nd content increases, the lattice parameters a, b, c and the unit cell volume V increase in both the (NdxGd1-x)3Fe24Cr5 and (NdxTb1-x)3Fe24Cr5 compounds due to the lanthanide contraction. The room temperature easy magnetization direction changes to the [040] direction with the increase of Nd content. The Curie temperature of (NdxGd1-x)3Fe24Cr5 decreases monotonically with the substitution of Nd for Gd, while for the (NdxTb1-x)3Fe24Cr5 compound the Curie temperature decrease with the Nd content for x=0-0.4 and increase for x=0.4-0.8. The saturation magnetization Ms increases with the Nd content monotonically for both the compound system and can be described in terms of a simply dilution model.
