磺化聚醚砜共混质子交换膜的性能研究

【摘要】 将高离子交换容量(IEC)的磺化聚醚砜(IEC=1.83 meq/g)与低IEC的磺化聚醚砜(IEC=1.17 meq/g 和IEC=0.92 meq/g)以不同比例共混成膜。用原子力显微镜(AFM)和差示扫描量热仪(DSC)分析表征了共混膜基质之间的相容性。对膜的吸水率、电导率、甲醇渗透率、力学性能和抗氧化性能进行了测试。结果表明,不同IEC 的磺化聚醚砜具有良好的相容性,低IEC磺化聚醚砜的加入有效地改善了共混膜的溶胀性和甲醇渗透性能,并维持了较高的电导率,同时膜的力学性能和抗氧化性能也得到了提高。当IEC为1.83 meq/g和IEC为1.17meq/g 的磺化聚醚砜以质量分数5:5和4:6共混时,共混膜各方面的性能达到了较好的平衡。

【Abstract】 A series of proton exchange membranes were prepared by blending sulfonated polyethersulfone (SPES) with high ion exchange capacity (IEC) of 1.83 meq/g and low IEC of 1.17 meq/g or 0.92 meq/g with different blend ratio. The miscibility of the two-blend matrix was analyzed using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). SPES with different IEC showed good miscibility. When the SPES with lower IEC was added, the swelling, methanol permeability, mechanical properties and antioxygenic stability of blend membranes were improved effectively and relative high proton conductivity were maintained. When SPES with IEC of 1.83 meq/g and 1. 17 meq/g were blended with 5:5 and 4:6(wt/wt) ratio, the properties of blend membranes reached a good balance.
