【Abstract】 Future wireless networks are an integration of mixed networks such as WLAN, WMAN and 3G. It is of importance and worth of researching the issue that how to provide for mobile users with seamless handoff while roaming among hybrid networks. The major objective of this paper is to propose an integrated architecture for heterogeneous wireless networks. Here we use IEEE802.16 WMAN and BEEE802.11 WLAN-as examples. This architecture simplifies the design of handoff strategy, meanwhile taking the security of authentication and QoS (Quality of Service) into consideration.更多还原
